1. fast 侧重于指人或物体具有运动速度快的特点。如：
You are always saying I am growing so fast. 你老是说，我长得很快。（句中的fast指的是长的速度快，每年要长高不少。）

2. quickly 侧重指某事完成或发生的快，总共延续的时间很短，常指人的思维快，手快或动作敏捷等。如：

3. soon 侧重指两件事情的先后发生，中间的间隔的时间很短。如：
So I tried my best to find the answer quickly. Soon I found it. 因此， 我想尽快地指导答案找出来，很快地，我找到了答案。（句中的soon指的是想找答案，和找到答案之间的间隔时间很短。）
Soon they sere in the middle of the river. 很快他们就到了河中间。
